Attendance & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson to qualify for lesson credit.

Dr. Peipei Zhao
Piano and Theory Teacher · Founder & Director
Piano and Theory Teacher, Dr. Zhao began her musical journey at the age of 4 with formal piano training, laying a strong foundation for her future in music. She pursued her academic studies at Xi'an Conservatory of Music, where she studied under the renowned composer Mr. Han Lankui and earned multiple awards. She continued her education at California State University, Northridge, earning a Master's degree under the guidance of European composer Dr. Marinescu and Dr. Kirov, founder of the Orkestar band and a noted composer/pianist. She later completed her Doctorate at Claremont Graduate University under the mentorship of Grammy-nominated American composer Dr. Boyer.

Piano and Theory Teacher, Ms. Zhang is a pianist recognized for her musical insight, refined technique, and thoughtful interpretative approach. She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at Claremont Graduate University in California, where she studies under Dr. JennySoonjin Kim. She holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

Sofía Gil
Piano Teacher
Piano teacher, Ms. Sofía Gil is a pianist and educator based in Southern California, recognized for her work as a soloist, accompanist, and private piano instructor. Ms. Sofía began her musical journey at the age of five under the tutelage of her mother, Alicia Diaz, a classically trained pianist with a Master’s in Music Performance from the Superior Conservatory of Salvadoran Music in Castelló, Spain. During her youth, she performed frequently at the Redlands Conservatory of Music and Arts and Loma Linda Academy, where she received the “Musician of the Year” award in 2016. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance at La Sierra University, studying under Dr. Elvin Rodriguez, with additional training from Peter Cooper at Southern Adventist University. Ms. Sofía’s performance experience includes both solo and collaborative work at venues such as the University of Redlands Auditorium, Redlands Bowl, Ackerman Auditorium, and Hole Memorial Auditorium. Her repertoire spans Baroque to contemporary styles, with a focus on composers like Bach, Chopin, Debussy, and Turina. As an educator, she teaches privately through Golden Echo Academy and has developed engaging music programs as a teacher and summer camp director. Known for her musical sensitivity and stylistic versatility, she is committed to nurturing creativity, confidence, and technical excellence in each of her students.

What are your rates?
Music — private lessons: $40 / 30 min, $60 / 45 min, $80 / 60 min (advanced piano: $55 / $75 / $95). Group classes: Piano Group / Music Appreciation $240 per 8 lessons; ABRSM Grade 5 Theory $900 per 20-class session. Trial lesson $20 / 30 min.
Tutoring — one-on-one: English (ELA) $45 / 45 min, $55 / 60 min; Advanced English $95 / 60 min; Math $45 / 45 min, $55 / 60 min, $80 / 90 min. English Language Arts groups: $300 per 10 × 60-min classes, $450 per 10 × 90-min classes.
Art: Art & Painting group $400 per 10-class session + $25 materials fee; Advanced Art & Painting private lesson $95 / 60 min. Trial class $40.
After-School Program: weekly tuition from $134 / week depending on days per week (see the full tuition page for the weekly table and materials fee). School break programs from $89 / week; single day $75.
